back again on my blog🙌👋 after yesterday we discussed about news items, this time we will discuss about the procedure text. So, enjoy the discussion on this blog guys!!!😘

DEFINITION PROCEDURE TEXT :

Procedure text is a text that gives us orders or instructions to do something or a text that describes how something is accomplished through steps.

THE CHARACTERISITICS OF PROCEDURE TEXT :

1. Usually Uses Simple Present Tense with the formula (S+V1)

2. imperative form / command form,

3. Using action verbs, for example: make, take, boil, cook,

4. Using temporal conjunctions, for example: First, then, next, after that, last

5. Using conjunctions to sequence activities, for example, then, while, etc.

6. Using adverbs (adverbs) to express detailed time, place, accurate ways, for example for five minutes, 2 hours, etc.

7. Using adverbs (adverbs) to express stages or sequences, for example the first, the second, the third, the last, etc.

THE PURPOSE OF PROCEDURE TEXT :

The purpose of a procedure text is to tell the reader how to do or make something through a sequence of actions or steps.

GENERIC STRUCTURE OF PROCEDURE TEXT :

1. Goal : provides information about the intent and purpose of the procedure and predicts a conclusion.

2. Materials : contains a list of materials or materials needed to perform a procedure or steps.

3. Steps : a list of sequences of instructions/activities to achieve a goal in the correct sequence of steps.

4. Result : The result of a series of steps that have been carried out.

1) First, you will read silently to understand the procedure texts below. Make sure that you know the meaning of every word. If you find some words that you do not understand their meaning yet. Then, consult the dictionary. (Baca dalam hati untuk memahami makna dari teks prosedur berikut).

2) Second, read each text (text 1 and 2) loudly as if you are giving the instructions and take a note on your book. If possible, record your voice. ( Baca dengan nyaring seolah-olah Kalian sedang memberikan instruksi dan jika memungkinkan rekamlah suara kalian ).

b. Who will probably need to read read the texts? Everyone who has cellphone and everyone who will cook rice in rice cooker will need to read this text.

c. What are the purpose of the texts? The purpose of each text is to tell how something is done/accomplished through the sequence of steps.

d. What is the benefit of reading the texts? The benefit of reading this text is the readers will know how to insert simcard cellphone and how to cook using rice cooker.

How To Make Brownies

Ingredients :

• 1/2 cup cocoa
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
• 1 cup plain flour
• 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
• 2 cups brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 200 grams butter

Steps :

• First, turn the oven to 180c and line a 30 x 20 cm tin with baking paper (or grease it)
• In a medium sized saucepan, put the butter and cocoa
• Melt it gently and make sure you don't boil it
• Add the sugar and the vanilla, and stir it in well
• Take the mixture off the heat and sift in the flour, Stir it in well
• Add the eggs, beating them in really well
• If using them, add the chopped walnuts and stir them in
• And then, spread the mixture in the tin. Bake for 20-25 minutes
• Finally, brownies ready to be served

How to Use a Blender

Materials : 

• Blender
• Fruits
• Water
• Ice Cube
• Spoon
• Glass

Steps :

• First make sure the blender and fruit are clean.
• Next, peel the fruit if needed.
• Cut it into smaller sizes and put it in a blender.
• Add ice cubes and a little water, then cover the top of the blender.
• Plug the blender into a power source, then press the power button and adjust the speed.
• Stir gently using a spoon.
• If so, please pour and serve in a glass.

How to Use Washing Machine

• Washing Machine
• Detergent
• Clothes
• Water

Steps :

• First, put the clothes in the washing machine.
• Then fill the water in the washing machine and detergent.
• Next set the washing machine speed along with the time.
• Let the washing machine work, after finishing putting clothes into the spinning tube.
• Next stay in the clothes drying.
