DEFINITION OF EXPOSITION TEXT :

Exposition text is a type of text that is used to explain the views of an author on an issue. In other words, this text is an argumentative text. Exposition Text contains not only one argument, but also various arguments with the same purpose.

PURPOSE OF EXPOSITION TEXT :

To convince the reader that the topics presented was an important topic to be discussed or gained attention by way of providing arguments or opinions that support the main idea or topic.

GENERIC STRUCTURE OF EXPOSITION TEXT :

• Thesis: Introducing the topic and indicating the writer's point of view.
• Argument : Explaining the argument to support the writer's position. The number of arguments may vary, but each argument must be supported by evidence and explanation.
• Reiteration : Resting the writer's point of view / to strengthen the thesis. We can use the following phrase to make a conclusion in reiteration

THE CHARACTERISTIC OF EXPOSITION TEXT :

1. Using relational processes
2. Using internal conjunctions
3. Using causal conjunctions
4. Using Simple Present Tense
5. Using compound and complex sentences.
6. Use word that link argument, such as firstly, secondly, and reasoning through causal conjunction, such as in addition, furthermore, however, therefore.

The importance of disposing of garbage in its place

Every day we produce waste, this is indeed a must. However, many people still do not care about the importance of disposing of waste in its place. Lack of public awareness of this can cause various adverse effects.

Various effects caused by littering, one of which is that it can pollute the air with an unpleasant odor. Garbage that has an unpleasant odor is also a place for harmful germs. These harmful germs can be spread through the air or with the help of flies.

Not only that, non-organic waste can also have a negative impact on the environment. Non-organic waste is the cause of frequent flooding in the capital. Non-organic waste that is disposed of carelessly will be carried by rainwater to the sewer. Then it accumulates in the ditch and clogs the waterways, and flooding is unavoidable.

Littering litter will only create a lot of additional problems that will eventually bring us back. When we litter, we are actually endangering our own safety. So if you want to live a happy and healthy life, it is highly recommended to stop littering and start taking care of the environment.
